Is there a deadline to complete the project?

 

Once you have enrolled into the programme you have 4 weeks to complete your project and work alongside your healthcare mentor. 

 

Can I work in groups?

 

Yes you can but for the impact report you will need to write that as an individual. 

 

How long should the impact report be?

 

One page

 

Who can apply?

 

Anyone between the ages of 11-25 years old. 

 

When can I apply?

 

You can apply anytime throughout the year as the programme has no start/end date. 

 

Can I apply for the CREST Award as well as receiving an award from Health Pioneers?

 

Yes you can and your healthcare professional mentor will support you through this process. 

 

Can I just create a project?

 

You can just create a project but we recommend attending events to improve your health and leadership knowledge. 

 

Can I just attend the virtual or in-person events? 

 

You can just attend these events but we recommend you create a project to put this knowledge into practice. 

 

Is it compulsory to attend the events? 

 

No. You will receive a certificate for every event you attend but you can choose which one’s in particular you want to attend. 

 

When do the events happen? 

 

The events will occur on a weekday in the evening. They will be conducted via Google Meet.

Do you have grade entry requirements?

No, we do not have any minimum grade entry requirements.

 

I don’t live in London can I still apply?

Unfortunately, if you do not live in London we cannot accept you on to our programme at the moment. Please sign up to our newsletter where we regularly share helpful tips and resources to help you with applying for university.

You can also inform your teacher to email us to see if we can set up a talk or workshop at your school. For more information about our offer to school please go to our Outreach section.

I don’t know my predicted grades can I still apply?

 

No. Your predicted grades are an important part of the application. We need your predicted grades to help us in matching you with a suitable mentor, and to tailor activities to meet your needs. We also accept your target grades, if you're unable to provide predicted grades.

I studied outside of the UK before Year 12 can I still apply?

 

Yes, of course! We ask that you convert any grades from outside of the UK into the UK system. You should talk to your teacher for help with this.

Can I start my application and then finish it at another time?

 

Unfortunately not. You need to submit your application in one go. So please ensure that you have all the necessary information ready, and before you click the submit button that you go through your application and proof-read everything again.

I am a healthcare professional how can I get involved?
